In 1997 plantationhouse Daniel has been transformed into a guesthouse and restaurant, under the management of Jan Francke (1953), a Dutchman originating from the southern islands of the Netherlands, called Zeeland.
Several years ago, Jan Francke - a doctor in biology - decided after years of biological research that his life should take a new turn and make a living of his great passion: food and wine. This led him to Landhuis Daniel Curacao, where he saw the opportunities to fulfill his dream: pampering his guests with his personal signature cuisine and hospitality in a lovely tropical and historical surrounding.
